PoolCheck Support

Need help with PoolCheck? Find answers to common questions below, or contact us directly for assistance.

Getting Started

  • Creating an account: Download PoolCheck from the App Store and follow the signup process. You'll need a phone number and email address.
  • Adding a pool: Go to Profile > My Pools > Add Pool. Search for an address or drop a pin on the map.
  • Adding friends: Go to the Friends tab and search for friends by phone number, or invite them via text message.

Location Services

  • Automatic check-ins: Enable "Always" location access in Settings to allow automatic check-ins when you arrive at a pool.
  • Battery usage: PoolCheck uses geofencing, which is battery-efficient. You can also choose "When Using App" for manual check-ins only.
  • Privacy: Your location is only shared with friends you've approved. You can disable location sharing at any time.

Notifications

  • Friend activity: Get notified when friends arrive at pools you have in common.
  • Managing notifications: Go to Profile > Notifications to customize what alerts you receive.
  • Not receiving notifications: Check that notifications are enabled in iOS Settings > PoolCheck.

Account & Privacy

  • Changing your profile: Tap your profile photo in the Profile tab to update your picture or name.
  • Deleting your account: Contact us at info@mashdev.dev to request account deletion.
  • Data requests: Contact us to request a copy of your data or ask questions about how we handle your information.
